International Society for Krishna Consciousness

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was established in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Srila Prabhupada). ISKCON has since developed into a global organization with over 300,000 members.

Better known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is comprised of more than 500 temples, centers, communities, schools, and restaurants worldwide.

The main functions of the ISKCON is :
1.Mantra Meditation
2.Education and distribution of Vedic texts and literatures.
3.Establishment of Spiritual and Cultural Centers.
4.Free Prasadam Food Distribution.
5.Youth Cultivation and Counselling.
